eye of zeta

In 2022, the eye of Hurricane Zeta passed directly over New Orleans. In the eye, the city was remarkably still until the streets began to fill with neighbors who came out to walk their dogs and move debris, making room for emergency vehicles to pass through. As full hurricane strength hit the edges of town, the horizon turned an eery green-blue as transformers exploded en masse. This is an attempt to capture the feeling of those moments.
